These Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks Choco Eggs Are Worth The Choking Hazard
Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks Choco Eggs — a new item from NCXS that will satisfy both the Zelda fanatic and chocolate lover inside of you.
Apparently either someone’s been reading my thoughts or finally someone else had the awesome idea of bringing two of my favorite things together: my love for The Legend of Zelda series and delicious candy.
For now I’ll put away the tinfoil hat and just chuck it up to just plain old coincidence — because what I’m about to talk about is so rightfully excellent.
Come next February, from Japanese import shop NCSX, are an assortment of charming little figures from The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks. Apart of the Furuta Choco Egg Series, a Japanese line of toy-candy products that have a tiny toy placed into a plastic egg shell surrounded by chocolate. (Choking hazard? You bet your sweet bibby they are.)
The set of 12 individual figures include the whole cast and crew of Link’s second portable outing on the Nintendo DS — all capturing the bright colorful tone that The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks had when it came out in December 2009.
In fact, it proudly continues the great cel-shaded cartoony style that was first presented in The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. (Which is a fantastic game, punk the haters!)
In the set are two Links , one doing a fierce attacking pose with his sword and the other playing his pan flute, the always beautiful Princess Zelda, and even the train which Link uses to travel and navigate the game’s world.
Oh and lets not forget about the friendly faces and baddies from the game, including a mystery character that is a surprise to anyone that finds him.
NCSX will be selling a random pack of 10 The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks Choco Eggs around February 2011 for $30.90. You won’t be able to pick which figure you want, but at least with the 10 you receive, hopefully you won’t be disappointed.
